Kitchener's Knoll Road, Canterbury

This magnificent 319sqm home is perched high on a hill in the Canterbury suburb of
Kennedy's Bush. To ensure that the clients could take in the breathtaking views, the
home required extensive glazing.

"Design Windows West Coast assisted in selecting suitable window suites and glazing
for a very high wind zone and above height sliding doors and high level windows," said
architect Tim Field.

"We wanted to make the most of the views, so we requested large uninterrupted glazing,"
said home owner Nicky Sindos. Design Windows West Coast created the look and
delivered high-quality windows on time for our builder.

The large entry door welcomes you into the home and is outfitted with a digital Yale lock
and a Windsor pull handle that exudes luxury.

The Metro series suite was used to create a beautiful green space by surrounding the
outdoor fish pond and living garden wall.

A large pivot door was used to enclosed the patio area to utilise indoor outdoor flow for
an entertainment zone that can be used year round.

Working with Tim and Nicky on this project was a pleasure; his architectural eye enabled
him to adapt and utilise a seemingly standard joinery design to create an architectural

Builder Greg Rushton was also a pleasure to work with on this project; his skill set is ideal
for a build of this calibre.
